I know nothing about how to read the report, I was just going to buy a new drive, but wanted to see if anyone here had any thoughts before I did so. I ran etrecheck, attached below, and the disk check seems to be a 'pass' but the overall computer performance is 'poor'. Of course I get the spinning beach ball alot, which I attributed to several redundant backup drives attached to the computer.
It ran fine for a day, now the error message again. I needed to boot from target disk mode to get it turned on.
Apples disk utility couldn't find anything, and my DriveGenius 4 could not fix the problem until the DG5 upgrade 2 days ago. Hi All, I have a late 2013 imac with high sierra that DriveGenius 5 is saying has critical errors and needs to be replaced, and has been saying this for a few weeks.
